  -New Romantic refers to an original tendency in fashion,music and art that developed in late 70s and early 80s in England.
  The following list describes the main characteristics of the New Romantic Trend
  
  FASHION:
  - outstanding clothes full of fantasy
  -smart clothes
  -colourful clothes
  -high-heeled shoes
  -make-up on the face
  - scrupulously combed (brushed) hair - HAIR: Long hair was brushed in such a way that it was all on the head and above ears (not hanging freely on the head). In fact the shape of the New Romantic hairstyle was similar to a Punk 's hairstyle, however it looked far more elegant because the hairstyle was coherent and firm - the spikes or spines on the head were smaller and less prominent for the sake of elegance of the hairstyle (łądnie przyczesane włosy do góry - lekkie kolce ale mniej widoczne na rzecz elegancji fryzury). Instead, the hair was carefully brushed and it was strengthened with gel (Zamiast tego włosy były starannie czesane i wzmacniane żelem)
  
  
  
  MUSIC- Synthesizers were used extensively. They became an indispensable part of the New Romantic Music. Every song was accompanied by lots of strong lights so that it looked like a show. The singers were made to look as if they were artists. In fact, they were like creators because they used to write their songs, arrange the scenography on their own and even design clothes on their own for concerts

  BEHAVIOUR - zachowanie - different from the Punks'
  3 elements were important for this SUBCULTURE : fun, dance and outstanding costumes.
  When it comes to behaviour, people of the New Romantic Epoch manifested a bit of decadence through their clothes. They all originated from the working class and clothes, music or dancing was something that made their life sensible. They expressed little brutality by means of their clothes or music and this is what differs them from the Punks. New Romantic People were less aggressive than Punks and more romantic. They didn ' t accept the austerity and negativism propagated by the Punks. Art was extremely important in New Romantic Epoch.
